1.) Start collecting lines from some of your favourite songs. Keep a running record of these lines in your notebook. We will be creating something as a class with these.
2.) Read!!!!!!!
3.) Finish Quick write: "Songs in my heart" for homework if not completed.

Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
This book is about a high school girl who commits suicide. Before her death, she creates 13 audiotapes and sends them to a list of 13 people who she believes helped contribute to the reasons she wanted to kill herself. It began with a rumour gone bad.......

Please bring in a Notebook Journal by Monday. If you cannot get a hard cover one, purchase a smaller 3 ringed notebook.
Remember that students should be reading a minimum of two (2) hours a week. Get started this weekend. :)
