This week we had two guest tiers on hand: Sydney Matchett from the Trout Brook Fly Shop and Bonnie Wright from the FISH FRIENDS program...thanks to both of you for stopping by the club. We tied some hairwings with a focus on the Black Ghost. We also prepared for the NB Sportsman Show in Moncton...

Thanks to everyone who supports our 'Tight Lines in 2013' raffle. Club members are out and about selling tickets on some great prizes that were donated by: NB Salmon Council, George Routledge, Sydney Matchett and Herb Barry. Draw date is set for April 15th (first day of the Atlantic Salmon season).

This week we tied bugs again and used Herb's video to refine our skills. Glad to see some club members who quickly picked up on how to do a whip finish with their hands without the aid of the whip finisher tool. Looks like are bugs are coming along nicely and we will focus on hairwings after...

This past Sunday Herb Barry helped out some of our club members with your fly tying skills. We worked on some bugs: Green Machines, Shady Ladies, Smurfs and even some Bombers. Check out the pictures of those who were involved...
