ASD-N Miramichi River STEM Fest 2018 for K-12

For schools under the Miramichi Edcuation Centre area of schools (former district 16).
Maximum of 8 projects per school in each of the following categories: 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
Maximum of 4 projects per school in K - 2.
STEM Fair Date: Saturday, March 24, 2018.
Location: James M. Hill Memorial High School, Miramichi
Pizza lunch will be provided for all participanting students, teachers, and parents. If bringing snacks, please note it is a peanut/nut free event.
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, March 21, 2017.

Project #1...Details, Rubric and Proposal Document

I have attached the details of what needs to be included in your project proposal along with a scoring rubric. Be sure to be detailed with this document as this will be the starting point to your project. If we do not have the materials to support your project...complete a second proposal for Project #2 (due Feb. 27th with 5 TechPoints for submitting early). That way we can forward this proposal on to others with hopes of obtaining support and time to order the necessary materials.

Safety Orientation & WHMIS Modules

We will be working to complete the 1) Safety Orientation and 2) WHMIS modules in class today. If you do not complete in class...you can also do this at home. Go to the website to register (I will give you a pin number), print your confirmation to get login codes and begin working through the modules. Print certificate when finished each module.
