We have started to work on getting ideas for your Extended Narrative. Today we read "My Father's Voice" by Tom Romano, which uses repetition in a way you may want to mimic yourself in your narrative. Next week we will read more extended narrative mentor texts and focus on organization. Continue to work on your maps or sketches of a place if you haven't finished them, and come to class on Tuesday with an extended narrative topic in mind (remember: it can be based on a place, an idea or one person, and it is a series of snapshots pieced together).   Please be sure you have completed the following: -Snapshot moment -One pager independent novel reflections -Reading goal reflections -"A Sound of Thunder" questions -"Consorting with Frogs" inference activity
