Short Story Test: Thursday, November 3
I passed out the outline today in class, and two classes are being provided to use the review sheet to study. All stories can be found online if you can't find your copy.
If you are not in class on Thursday, a written excuse is required to write the alternate test on the day you return. No tests can be written without a valid excuse for missing the test period.

We're nearing the end of the short story unit, and there will be a test on Thursday, November 3. Test outlines will go out on Monday.
Homework for Monday, October 31st:
Read "The Monkey's Paw" (this was started in class) and mark the following on the text: foreshadowing, suspense and plot details (little summaries at the bottom of each page). There will be a reading check on Monday.
